Materials & Resource Review or Co-development
SERVICE DESCRIPTION:
Review/editing of materials and resources to enhance age-friendly language and avoid ageist or paternalistic messaging. Example, Falls prevention content, services for older adults, case examples involving older adults, etc.
Co-development of resources to integrate DoR principles, aligning with organizational policies.
Public Presentations
Changing the culture of ageism and the ways we perceive and interact with older adults in our communities begins with education.
C-A Murray Consulting provides educational talks tailored to the public, for organizations, community groups and businesses working with older adults that want to improve their inter-generational conduct applying principles of Dignity of Risk.
This education can also invite interested adults aged 65 and older to “score yourself on the Clinical Frailty Scale,” helping to feel more empowered in healthy ageing and remaining independent (lower risk of developing frailty), or to optimize health and function within their current level of frailty.
