Note: Requires completion of Intro Training, either virtual or in-person.

We recognize the DoR approach has great potential to be embedded into long-term care settings, however we are unable to accommodate training requests for the long-term care sector at this time.

Materials & Resource Review

SERVICE DESCRIPTION: 

Review/editing of materials and resources to enhance age-friendly language and avoid ageist or paternalistic messaging. Example, Falls prevention content, services for older adults, case examples involving older adults, etc.

Public Presentations

Changing the culture of ageism and the ways we perceive and interact with older adults in our communities begins with education.

 

C-A Murray Consulting provides educational talks that are tailored to the public, for organizations, community groups and businesses working with older adults that want to improve their inter-generational conduct applying the principles of Dignity of Risk.

 

This education can also invite interested adults aged 65 and older to “score yourself on the Clinical Frailty Scale,” helping them feel more empowered to lower their risk of developing frailty or to maintain health and function within their current level of frailty.
